Abstract

The present study originates from the intention of conducting a literature review on the mental health of Generation Z in the work context. Given the current social reality, where mental health in the workplace is a pressing issue, especially for this generation that is emerging into the job market and represents a significant portion of the current and future workforce, understanding this topic has become essential for organizations and theory. Thus, this study is justified by the importance and necessity of academic research on this generation and its relationship with the job market from a mental health perspective, as it is an issue that impacts not only individuals but society as a whole. Based on the theoretical framework used, a research agenda was proposed on the topic in question, which can be utilized by students and researchers in the field of People Management, as well as in other areas such as Human Sciences and Health Sciences, for future studies.
