This article addresses the situation of Syrian refugees in Brazil amidst the increasing global migration movements. Focusing on legislation and integration policies, it investigates the challenges faced by these refugees, such as access to basic services, inclusion in the job market, cultural adaptation, and participation in the local community. The humanitarian crisis in Syria is highlighted as a striking example of mass displacement. The research aims to identify gaps and obstacles in the integration process of Syrian refugees in Brazil, employing qualitative methodology and providing insights for the development of more effective policies sensitive to their needs. The findings from this research involve comparisons and lessons related to the patterns observed in the reception of Syrian refugees.
