Resumen
This article aims to evaluate, from an Adventist perspective, the hermeneutical trajectory that justifies the quotation of Hosea 11:1 in Matthew 2:15. Through exegetical and theological analysis, and bibliographical research, this research aims to find out if Matthew practiced sound hermeneutic or only did an inspired "eisegesis" by quoting Hosea 11:1. Finally, this article will reflect on the implications of Matthew's example for Adventist hermeneutics.
