Resumo
Este artigo investiga a funcionalidade teológica do tronco verbal Nifal em Isaías 53:7, com especial atenção à forma נַעֲנֶה(naʿăneh) e à tensão que ela permite entre a leitura passiva (“foi afligido”) e a leitura médio-reflexiva ou tolerativa (“humilhou-se” ou “deixou-se afligir”). A análise apoia-se em gramáticas de referência, no confronto entre o Texto Massorético e a Septuaginta e no exame de usos selecionados do Nifal no livro de Isaías. O estudo também considera a recepção do texto em tradições judaicas antigas e na tradição patrística, a fim de observar como a tensão entre sofrimento imposto e entrega voluntária foi interpretada teologicamente. O argumento central é que essa ambiguidade não deve ser tratada como imprecisão gramatical, mas como um recurso poético-teológico que expressa a dupla dimensão do Servo: vítima da opressão e, ao mesmo tempo, sujeito voluntário de sua entrega. Nessa perspectiva, a flexibilidade do Nifal contribui para articular, no próprio nível verbal, a relação entre sofrimento vicário, submissão consciente e cristologia bíblica.
