Abstract

Domestic and family violence against women with a focus on the analysis of the role played by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in relation to women who actively practice religion. The study investigates how religiosity influences women’s perception of violence, explores how the church responds to this problem and examines the resources and support offered to women in situations of violence. Through qualitative and theoretical research methodology based on bibliographical research with analysis of articles published in the virtual sphere and physical literature. This study seeks to understand the intersection between religion and domestic violence, highlighting ways in which the church can improve victim support and promote awareness within the religious community.
