Abstract

This study will address the importance of the third sector in supporting the state apparatus in the execution of public policies, prevention, treatment and reintegration of chemical dependents, since the state apparatus alone does not cover the great demand and that over the years has grown . Its overall objective is to understand the role of the third sector in its support for the state apparatus in terms of meeting public policies for the prevention, treatment and reintegration of chemical dependents. For this, throughout this research, it will be understood what the third sector is and demonstrate the importance of supporting the state apparatus with regard to the length of public policies; describe what chemical dependency is; know what public policies are and identify what are the public policies for the prevention, treatment and reintegration of chemical dependents and finally, analyze the role of the state apparatus in meeting public policies for chemical dependents.
