Entrepreneurship education has received considerable attention in studies and research, the same in Brazil and internationally, due to its undeniable relevance for economic growth and sociocultural progress. There is a growing emphasis on the part of nations in promoting entrepreneurial culture, directing efforts from childhood onwards in the education of young people, seeking to expand the adoption of this practice in the social sphere. This approach stands out mainly for its ability to build new knowledge, develop skills, demonstrate a proactive stance and optimize resources through the application of existing knowledge. The objective of this study was to conduct a bibliographic review passing for the importance of entrepreneurship in the context of Public Education, with a methodology based on retrospective research from 2012 to 2022. Based on the conclusions of this review, it is possible to infer that entrepreneurship, as an educational discipline, gains substantial importance in driving the development and improvement of entrepreneurial skills.
