Abstract
Este estudo examina a doutrina da justificação pela fé a partir das Escrituras do Antigo
Testamento, demonstrando que seus fundamentos estão presentes nas narrativas e conceitos
veterotestamentários, anteriores ao ensino paulino. A análise mostra que figuras como Adão e
Abraão ilustram a realidade da justificação como uma declaração forense de Deus, baseada
exclusivamente na justiça imputada do Messias, e apropriada pela fé. São consideradas as
abordagens clássicas dos Reformadores, as formulações católicas no Concílio de Trento, a Nova
Perspectiva sobre Paulo e contribuições adventistas recentes. À luz das evidências bíblicas,
confirma-se que a justificação pela fé é uma doutrina enraizada nas Escrituras hebraicas e
essencial à teologia bíblica.
