Abstract
This article analyzes a brief reference to Seventh-day Adventists in letters from C. S. Lewis to an "American lady." C. S. Lewis was Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at the University of Cambridge. He became highly respected in this field of study throughout Europe, both as a teacher and as a novelist, poet, literary critic, essayist, and British Christian apologist. It is astonishing and at the same time heartening that he has come into contact with some part of the Adventist prophetic interpretation and has also been touched by the sincerity of some Adventist church member. His precious letters to Mary leave us pearls of sensitivity and presents us with a glimpse of the grace of God achieved in times of suffering.
