Resumo
Esta pesquisa investigou bibliográfica e documentalmente a contribuição da antropóloga Maria Helena Villas Bôas Concone para o desenvolvimento da antropologia brasileira no que tange a temas tão pertinentes quanto a interrelação entre dois de seus objetos de estudo ao longo de sua carreira:. Para isso, analisou-se, primeiramente, o corpus de sua produção científica nessas áreas e empreendeu-se uma tentativa de sistematização de suas principais ideias e contribuições para o estabelecimento e desenvolvimento dos estudos antropológicos no Brasil em relação aos temas do envelhecimento e da saúde e suas interfaces com a religião.
