EFECTOS NEUROLÓGICOS DE LA SOBREEXPOSICIÓN A INTERNET: UNA INTRODUCCIÓN AL ESCENARIO

Resumen

La sobreexposición a Internet ha proliferado, dando lugar a la aparición de la denominada “adicción a Internet”. El tema de los efectos en el cerebro causados ​​por la sobreexposición a Internet es significativo porque se considera un asunto de interés público. En este sentido, este artículo propone presentar los principales hallazgos de la neurociencia sobre la adicción a internet y los integra en un marco teórico conciso. Se trata de un ensayo teórico, de enfoque bibliográfico con carácter narrativo. E Aunque este trabajo no es una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura, proporciona datos importantes sobre algunas de las investigaciones relacionadas con las influencias neurológicas de la exposición excesiva a Internet, articuladas y organizadas en categorías relacionadas. La adicción a Internet es un importante desafío físico, social, emocional y psicológico. La mayoría de las investigaciones sobre adicciones parecen centrarse en factores personales, sociales, físicos, emocionales o mentales relacionados con el tema. Sin embargo, parecen existir pocos estudios centrados en el desarrollo cognitivo y su relación con el uso de Internet, lo que abre una extensa agenda en el horizonte.
